Blog 7: Higher Education

College is a great business . Colleges need you too go to their school. Admissions offices need have a certain quota that has to be met . The admissions office is trained to put as much pressure on the caller and do what ever it may take to get them to come to the college . They will even offer the online classes as well. The online education is very profitable . The demand of going to a 4year college is so good vs going to a community college can't keep up .  No admission office or math professor bothers to tell you how much you just might go into debt because of college. It is a 99% chance that you will have some amount of debt that you will marry until death. But 10% chance of having a career in this economy . I feel that college is not for everyone in so many different ways .  There are some benefits to going to college. Like if you finish college you will have some sort of degree . Your education level will be higher. There is also the chance of having a better life after college. You can say that you have experienced the college life for your self . Some of the down falls to going to college , You might go to a university and find out that a college is not for you . College takes a lot of money that some of many people might not have.  You will leave college in debt . I might go to college . I have started looking into colleges and filling out college apps.

Blog 6: The American Justice System: The New Asylum

The prisons have became the new mental hospitals . Most of the inmates that have been getting convicted have a mental issues of some sort .  Most of the prisoners have been diagnosed of bipolar disorder , schizophrenic disorder . Most of the inmates that are diagnosed with these disorders have come from broken homes as a child or even are still homeless .  Majority of the crimes that these mental inmates have been convicted of are small petty crimes such as petty theft or sleeping in abandon homes . There also have been some larger crimes like murders .  There are little of non mental hospitals that the inmates could go get help from . When a inmate is released from prison they will be released with a 3week supply of medication . The ex inmate is to go get there prescription refilled. These ex inmates seem to have a harder life after they get released . Inmates want help . An inmate in the prison name Billy Anthony is a bad case of schizophrenic. He thinks that these people from texas are coming to kill him ,so he tells authorities that he wants more security. They know that the only good help well come from the prisons. A inmate by the name of Jerry T. does not want to get released. He feels that there is no other treatment can help him. He has a fear of facing society because he does not  want to harm others. He states that he would be okay with just sleeping his life away in jail . The guards and nurses at the prions are the only people who are willing to help them with patients that are needed .  Inmates know that this is the only way they can get the medications for free. Most of the inmates will stop taking there medication because the inmates feel that the medicine will make them sick or even cause them to become depressed.  Mental institutions are a huge shame and a disgrace . Mental institutions were treating the mental ill patients very bad. Mental institution have been compared to concentration camps. The employes at these mental institutions were not giving the patients their medication or the wrong medication. The U.S. can help by not always looking too get money from helping someone . THere should be a non for profit organization to help these mental issues . This non for profit organization should also offer counseling .

Blog 3: The American Justice System: Capital Punishment

I do not agree with the death penalty . It is against the law if you kill some one . But yet the law is saying that its okay as long as a judge or the government say so. Or if there crime fits it. The electric chair has been token away for a reason this is just like  torture . All it is killing someone slowly. Who is another human being to choose weather another person deserves too die or live. People that have been murdered due to the death penalty can possibly falsely accused .                                                            


Capital Punishment Is Morally Justified : 
 It is wrong not to execute a murderer because punishments must fir the crime .
To bring the murderer to justice and to acknowledge the sanctity and dignity of innocent human life.
The death penalty does not punish people for killing but for murder.


The Death Penalty Should Be Abolished :
The death penalty does not show any special power to reduce crime or political violence.
In many country's it is used disproportionately against the poor or the racial or ethnic minorities.
A violation of fundamental human rights .

Blog 5: Repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell

In 1993 President Bill Clinton introduced the bill saying "Don't Ask Don't Tell" . This bill is for the homosexuality serving in  the military. Basically stating that it was okay for a person to like the same sex as long as you don't be open about it while in the service . In the service homosexuality was not okay in anyway. In my opinion a person sexuality does not make them as a person. I feel that everyone is equal and there is no one person better than the other. No one walks around asking random people are they straight but people are okay with asking someone are they "gay". What does a homo look like? I understand realign could make a person feel a certain way and have certain beliefs about this sexuality . Yet in still that does not give anyone the right to judge another person. Before these bills / laws were even made up , even before Bill Clinton's bill in 1993 i'm pretty sure there were some homosexuality in the service and others just didn't know. I feel that a person is a person and everyone is equal .

Blog 4: Terrorism: The Man Who Knew

1993 the World Trade Center was bombed by a group of al Qaeda men. They planned to destroy the World Trade Center but they failed that mission.  The World Trade Centers plat form was still standing. The bombing only caused 6 deaths and  injured over thousands of people. A man by the name of Ahmed Ajaj was one of the men behind the bombing of The World Trade center. The FBI was aware of all these threats and the attacks. The FBI knew that they were playing "something big". A wise man by the name of John O'Neal had warned the FBI agents . The FBI was not trying to hear O'Neal . O'Neal took his job really serious , He tried to get on the bombing case but the other agents would not let him. Even though he tried to inform more than just the FBI officials about "something  big " that will happen they just didn't want to hear it . The bombing of the Twin Towers was a surprise to outside citizens but no surprise to the FBI agents nor the government.  

Blog 2: The American Justice System: Leonard Peltier

The evidence was very slim to non. It was only because they seen this man leaving the crime scene 2 hrs. later .  One of the wittiness  even said that she was forced too make the statement and if she didn't she could even be charged with the murder of another case. These agents were in separate cars in regular clothes. Following the wrong car to began with. The verdict came too life in prison. They have said there is someone the real killer has confessed too people but not to the authorities. With the evidence the timing was off , the car was wrong it was a red pick up and they followed a van. They are saying that you can define a red truck vehicle can be classified as many car including a van . The evidence was just not clear in any way.

Blog 1. Current History

The West Memphis 3 was about 3 young boys being brutally murdered by 3 older teens. In my opinion justice was not served and it may never be served . The had a little of no evidence on the 3 me that was on trail and was placed in jail. They only said that since one of the accused murders had certain beliefs and a  goth appearance, then he was crazy to do this. They have found new DNA at the crime scene. A wallet of a different male was also found at the crime scene
